DTE Interface
This section presents the technical characteristics required for a cable
connecting to a Hayes modem. The pin numbers mentioned below are for a 25-pin
interface connector.
Clear to Send (CTS) - pin 5
Clock Leads (pins 15, 17, 24)
Data Set Ready (DSR) - pin 6
Data Termnial Ready (DTR) - pin 20
High Speed (HS) - pins 12 and 23
Receive Data (RD) - pin 3
Ring Indicator (RI) - pin 22
Receive Line Signal Detector (RLSD) - pin 8
Request to Send (RTS) - pin 4
Send Data (SD) - pin 2
