Autobaud
Autobaud is the process where the modem determines the DTE speed. The modem
determines the AT Speed during the AT entry process (either Idle or Online
Command State) and during the entry of the A/ command (except in FAX modes).
In FAX mode (when +FCLASS=1 or +FCLASS=2), the modem may or may not autobaud
while off hook.
The modem normally recognizes commands sent by the DTE at 300, 1200, 2400,
4800, 7200, 9600, 14400, 19200, 28800, 38400, 57600, 115200, and 230400
bits/s. Register S144, if supported, can change this list of speeds.
