National PAD Parameters 108 - Channel Allocation Parameter


This parameter informs the PAD how the application software or user intends to use the current PAD channel.

National PAD Parameter 108 supports the following four values: 
Values   Description                                                             

0        Unavailable ­p; the PAD channel is not used; outgoing calls are not       

         allowed, and incoming calls are directed to incoming or free channels, or 

         cleared                                                                  

1        Outgoing ­p; the PAD channel is used for an outgoing call; incoming calls 

         are directed to incoming or free channels, or cleared                    

2        Incoming ­p; the PAD channel is available for an incoming call; outgoing  

         calls are not allowed; the PAD routes an incoming call to PAD channels   

         assigned as incoming before those assigned as bi-directional             

3        Bi-directional ­p; the PAD channel is available for incoming or outgoing  

         calls; incoming calls are directed to free channels if no incoming       

         channels are available (factory setting)
