Commands (FAX Class 2.0)

Default FAX values are reset by the &F , Zn - Perform Soft Reset , and +FIP commands, and by any event that causes a modem reset (e.g. power going on or DTR going off while the &D3 command is selected). No parameters are stored. The &F and Zn commands have the same effect on the +F parameters; installing the same default values. The +FCLASS command does not affect the parameter values of any other +F command.

When the modem is in the FAX mode, the FAX parameter +FAXERR indicates hangup status, as specified in [2]. The value of register S86 is set to 1 if a hangup occurs while the modem is in the FAX mode.
