VoiceView Overview

A VoiceView modem can:

1. Monitor a telephone call to detect a special start tone.

2. Disconnect the telephone to receive a file.

3. Disconnect the telephone to send a file.

4. Store received messages (optional).

The functions of the modem are controlled by special AT commands, which are defined in the VoiceView protocol specification.
